Residential Care Unit

The Residential Care Unit is a rest home facility set in park-like surroundings at the heart of the village. This quality focused facility is Ministry of Health certified to provide healthcare services. It offers a wide range of options including continuing rest home care, hospital level and palliative care, respite, or day care. Registered nurses and care staff are on duty 24 hours a day, supported by ancillary staff.

The facility also includes lounges, dining areas, and external secluded gardens. Nutritious meals are provided to suit individuals needs and tastes.

The Residential Care Unit is under the management of a qualified Registered Nurse, assisted by other Registered Nurses. Well-trained and experienced caregivers, Diversional Therapists, domestic and kitchen staff provide further care and support. Other Allied Healthcare services are available through contracted professionals.

Redevelopment of the Residential Care Unit is underway with a five year programme. Stage 1 was completed in July 2010, and Stage 2 was completed in October 2011. These two stages encompass 11 premium rooms which offer ensuite toilet and washbasin, and seven studio rooms which offer full ensuite bathroom and kitchenette facility.
